MIE has implemented a myriad of technical security controls, but, ultimately, security is a human issue. Humans are often the key target for cybercrime and cyber attacks are continuing to increase in size, sophistication and cost. Any lapse in security, technical or human, can have drastic repercussions on MIE. That is why MIE invests in security awareness training for the workforce. Security awareness training educates employees about cyberthreats and MIE’s policies and procedures for addressing them.
